MOSCOW, Oct 5 (PRIME) – The OPEC+ states have not reached a unified decision on the oil output cut during informal phone conversations prior to their Wednesday meeting in Vienna, a source from one of the delegations told PRIME.
“There were private phone conversations between the delegations the day before. Not all members want to reduce production, they are concerned with the price and possible market risks taking into account possible introduction of a price cap on Russian oil,” the source said.
The countries are discussing a joint output cut of 1.2–1.5 million barrels per day, but they are yet to reach a consensus, the source added.
